OCEANFRONT - Underwater archaeology brought together dive masters Alison Shanck and Joe Elder.
In fact, the couple, who opened Skipjack Nautical Wares at 614 Norfolk Ave. in June, will marry in October, aboard a 122-foot classic motor yacht in Florida, They met through their involvement with the Maritime Archeological and History Society of Washington, D.C.
"It brought us together," said Shanck, 38. "We're both interested in diving and history and the archeology."
