WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Committee for Justice (CFJ) today condemned the NAACP's national leadership for baldly threatening California civil rights lawyer Leo Terrell with expulsion from the group and loss of legal work if he continued to support federal court nominee Judge Carolyn Kuhl.
Mr. Terrell, a long-time NAACP member and former Equal Employment Opportunity Commission advisory board member, was contacted today by the NAACP's national leadership and told that he risked his position as an attorney listed by the group unless he followed the party line on Judge Kuhl.
