Aug. 10--It sounds contradictory, but Tom Lundberg and Dick Christensen like the feeling of being enclosed while enjoying the boundless outdoors.
"We wanted the yard to be an extension of the house," Lundberg said of their Fort Collins home. "So we created outdoor rooms for entertaining, dining and just relaxing.
"Now we spend as much time outside in the summer as we do in." Lundberg and Christensen are among a growing number of Colorado homeowners who are moving more of their lives outdoors by building living space out of their landscaping.
