The Brazilian Multibras da Amazonia, company of the Brasmotor group, had a turnover of R$55mil in the first half of 2003 (Jan-Jun), a boost of 20% in comparison with the same period in 2002. The plant had an average production of 1,000 m tons of plastic parts per month. Multibras' good performance contrasts with the drop of 10% in the turnover of the industrial pole of Manaus (Amazonas state), comprised of more than 400 companies.
