JAKARTA, Aug 12 Asia Pulse - Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Anwar Nasution said Indonesia needed a big amount of foreign exchange reserve to deal with uncertainties that may hit the country in the future.

"We are now facing an era of uncertainties, not only the general election. After the Bali bomb blasts last year, now there is the Marriott Hotel bomb explosion. Hence, a huge foreign exchange reserve is badly needed," Anwar said yesterday.
