Here's a summer dessert that takes advantage of the season's bounty, featuring strawberries, blueberries ANDraspberries. Try serving it slightly warm, either dusted with confectioners' sugar or with a dollop of whipped cream or mascarpone cheese.
MIXED-BERRY BREAD PUDDING
8 slices firm white bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 c. fresh strawberries, quartered
1 c. each fresh blueberries and raspberries
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 large eggs
