The recently completed world championship tae kwon do competition in Little Rock, Ark., was a success for members of the Gavin Espinosa Black Belt Academy in Valencia.
Jean Morrison won a bronze medal in the women's 30-and-over forms event and Gavin Espinosa earned a silver medal in forms in male adult fourth-degree black belt at the competition that ended last week.
Steve Arima took first place in forms and fighting.
Also, Valarie Herana was third in sparring and Jamal McClerkin was fourth in the event.
