2002 SEASON IN REVIEW: Coach Mack Brown put together another stellar season
with his team in 2002, but a national title still managed to slip through the
Longhorns' fingers after disappointing losses to Oklahoma and Texas Tech.
Texas opened the season with five consecutive victories, but a matchup with
the Sooners ended their title hopes as they lost 35-24. The Longhorns would
