GRAEME SMITH'S domination of the npower series was finally halted by one of cricket's most bizarre forms of dismissal as England tightened their stranglehold on the third Test at Trent Bridge.
The South African captain has spent the first two Tests of the series coping admirably with the various game plans devised by England's management committee to get him out and has registered a stunning aggregate of 621 runs in his three previous innings.
