Moire is gentle and laid-back. Scorcha is a spitfire. And Amber Fire? Well, she's a screamer, clearly the loudest of the bunch. The triplets may be sisters, but that's where their similarities seem to end.
That's how keepers at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park describe their red panda triplets, now 7 weeks old and emerging as little individuals with unique personalities.
The triplets, born June 24 at the Syracuse zoo, have defied the odds and managed to offer a little extra hope for the survival of their species.
