TULSA, Okla., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Great Plains Airlines announced today it will begin service this fall to MidAmerica St. Louis, Chicago Midway Airport, and Washington Dulles International Airport.
The Tulsa, Okla.-headquartered airline announced last month that it had agreed to lease additional Fairchild Dornier 328-100 prop jets from debis Airfinance, a unit of Daimler Chrysler Corp. The addition brings the airline's fleet of aircraft to five. The new markets will be added to the airline's current destinations of Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque and Nashville, and through a code share with Rio Grande Airlines, the cities of Taos and Alamogordo.
