Scapa Medical has developed a new foam tape for medical dressings. Medifix 4005/868 is a single-coated, medical-grade, pressure-sensitive polyurethane foam tape for direct skin applications including wound care, consumer dressings and general fixation.
The moisture vapour-permeable tape consists of soft, conformable, 0.4 mm wide, tan coloured polyurethane foam coated on one side with a medical-grade acrylic adhesive system. The product is supplied with an 80 g.[m.sup.-2] white glassine release liner.
