Tami Evans is a member of the board of directors of the Iroquois German Shepherd Dog Club.
On the third Thursday of every month, from September through June, you'll find a group of German shepherd dog lovers, most with dogs in tow, at the Onondaga Hill Masonic Hall on Onondaga Road.
Those gathering at the hall are members of the Iroquois German Shepherd Dog Club, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
From time to time, the founding member, Jim Campbell, of Howlett Hill, also can be found enjoying a cup of coffee and a homemade brownie at the club's monthly meetings.
