Madison police are investigating two sexual assaults that occurred Downtown within 25 minutes of one another early Wednesday and just blocks apart.
A 20-year-old woman reported she was walking in the 200 block of Marion Street about 12:25 a.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her by the shoulders. He then reached under her dress, shoved her to the ground and pinned her down. He fled when a vehicle passed by, the woman told police.
