WE WERE GETTING hot and heavy in a McDonald's parking lot. My hair was as tousled as the bedsheets. This was good. Then, I woke up.
Everyone has dreams like this, but mine was the worst kind: a sex dream involving my former boss - a man I still work with. Uggh, for sure. But not surprising, seeing as my co-workers pop into my dreams on a somewhat regular basis.
This one happened six months ago, maybe more. I judiciously tried pushing this awkward "encounter" out of my conscious. Yet the dream replayed in my mind like a late-night infomercial and embarrassment washed over me every time I saw him.
