THE security bill to protect Prince Harry during his gap year in Australia will top pounds 600,000.

TWELVE royal protection officers from Britain will accompany the Prince - known for his booze and smoking binges - when he jets Down Under next month.

The huge cost has led to a row between the police, who have to foot the bill, and Palace officials.
