A new niche has been carved out in the managed money field, one created out of necessity as huge amounts of new money enter the field and increase the need for instant expertise in selecting and monitoring commodity trading advisors (CTAs).

These new "managers of managers" are different from traditional commodity pool operators (CPOs).
