CHICAGO _ The Rangers were feeling especially giddy earlier in the week after sweeping the Detroit Tigers, moving into a tie for third place with the Anaheim Angels and taking an eight-game winning streak with them across Lake Michigan.
Then they showed up at U.S. Cellular Field and found themselves in the middle of a pennant race. Three nights with the Chicago White Sox have slapped them back to reality.
