AKRON, Ohio _ Darren Clarke seldom needs an excuse to light up a Cuban cigar or hoist a few pints of Guinness.
While he's not exactly John Daly with an Irish brogue, Clarke clearly knows how to enjoy himself.
But in his many business trips to the United States, Clarke rarely has had a legitimate occasion to celebrate.
That changed Sunday afternoon at the Firestone Country Club. The 35-year-old Clarke showed a world-class field and a sold-out crowd that Tiger Woods is not the only golfer who knows how to play with the lead on the South Course.
