HOLT UNVEILING A LINE OF CHEROKEE LEGWEAR
NEW YORK -- A licensed line of Cherokee women's legwear is being introduced by Holt Hosiery Mills, Inc., Burlington, N.C.
The sales staffs of Holt and Cherokee Group, the licensor, will begin showing the line to stores before the end of this month. Deliveries are scheduled to begin June 30.
First-year sales for Cherokee legwear are projected at $4 million to $5 million, said Terry Johnson, president of Holt Hosiery.
"Between now and August, we will be selling the legwear to stores that have Cherokee merchandise," said Johnson.
