More than 24,000 Premera Blue Cross members are now enrolled in Premera's cardiac/diabetes disease management program, designed to provide Premera members with useful tools and support to better manage their own health care.
Launched at the start of the year, the program was expanded earlier this summer to Premera members throughout Washington and Alaska. Of those enrolled, about 18,000 have diabetes, 1,200 have congestive heart failure and 5,400 have coronary artery disease.
