BEIJING _ Participants in the six-nation talks aimed at ending North Korea's nuclear weapons programs appeared ready to hold a second round of meetings after the talks end Friday.

Russia's representative, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Losyukov, said all six countries essentially agreed Thursday to sign a resolution calling on them to meet by October, Russia's ITAR-Tass news agency reported.
