Billy Joe Huels of Seattle's Dusty 45s starring as Buddy Holly?
That'll be the day!
In truth, Huels was born to play the Texas rock 'n' roll legend who shot to stardom in the late '50s with such hits as "Peggy Sue," "Not Fade Away," "True Love Ways" and "That'll Be the Day."
Huels, whose trim, youthful looks and penchant for boisterous roots-rock recall Holly's glory years, makes his acting debut in "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" at the 5th Avenue Theatre.
