Shad Rezai, assistant public works director for Inglewood, California, and Eugene Parker, senior engineer for Inglewood, believe that a reliable infrastructure is key to a city's economic growth. As a result, they are committed to maintaining Inglewood's infrastructure, which includes its sewer system.
Thanks to trenchless technology and thoughtful planning, Rezai and Parker have implemented a noninvasive sewer maintenance program. Each year, Inglewood conducts a systematic video inspection of a portion of its sewer lines. Based on the findings, the city uses trenchless technology to fix the pipes that are most in need of repair.
