Russian telecomms service provider EDN Sovintel has chosen a cellular feeding system from Alvarion Ltd, a provider of broadband wireless solutions.
EDN Sovintel is deploying the Alvarion WALKair Broadband Wireless Point-to-Multipoint cellular feeding solution in St. Petersburg for Bee-Line (Vimpelcom), a GSM mobile operator.
Financial terms of the implementation were not announced.
