Music industry representatives, educational leaders, and corporate executives from all over the United States convened in Washington D.C. for a two day national symposium to call much needed attention to the decline of education in music and the other arts in the nation's public schools. The highlight of the session, which was held March 6-7, was the release of a report from the National Commission on Music Education.
