UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIF. -- As officials from the retail and packaging industries met last week to discuss ways to make the presentation of DVDs, CDs and videogames more attractive to consumers, they also used the Entertainment Packaging Summit to discuss ways to make their wares less attractive to thieves.
The two-day event, held in conjunction with the DVD Entertainment Conference & Showcase at the Universal City Hilton, featured a wide-ranging discussion of media packaging issues, from design to manufacturing efficiency.
