A simple test may pinpoint children at high risk of rejecting newly transplanted kidneys, said researchers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the Stanford University School of Medicine (300 Pasteur Dr., Stanford, CA 94305, Tel:650/723-4000, Webstie: med.stanford.edu). The research, which identifies may increase the long-term survival of transplant patients and reduce the severe side effects caused by common anti-rejection drugs.
