Shanghai. September 3. INTERFAX-CHINA - A 1-mln-ton steel project was launched on August 26 at Luoyang, a city in central China's Henan Province under the full control of the city's Luoyang Weiye Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Shanxi Jincheng Weiye Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., which in turn is a private steel maker based in northern China's Shanxi Province, reported the local official TV station, Luoyang Dianshi Tai.
