Next to the weather, perhaps the second hottest thing has to be the retail scramble taking shape for the vacant retail spaces remaining in downtown White Plains.
A large chunk of that space is at Louis Cappelli's $325 million City Center at White Plains, where the entire second level of the retail complex remains available--but maybe not for long.
Cappelli disclosed last week he was in talks with four retailers for portions of the 140,000-square-foot second-floor space:
