One of Transohio Savings Bank's top executives has left the local thrift.
Philip Essig, who was senior vice president of Transohio's holding company and an executive vice president of the thrift itself, left Feb. 28 to join Citizens Federal Savings & Loan Association of Dayton, Transohio president Myron Filarski said last week. Mr. Essig started March 1 as executive vice president of operations at Citizens Federal.
Mr. Filarsk said Mr. Essig left in order to be closer to family members in the Dayton area. Three phone calls made by Crain's to Mr. Essig's home were unanswered.
