Three Minnesota fugitives, including one who was convicted of aiding in the murder of a police chief, were caught Thursday night in Texas at the border with Mexico, a state Corrections Department spokeswoman said.
The men were taken into custody without incident, said spokeswoman Shari Burt. They had been sought since Sunday, when they failed to return to a halfway house in Golden Valley after saying they were going to church.
