DAVAO City Threat or no threat, the Dabawenyos went partying at the recent annual Kadayawan Festival. This years theme is Duaw, Duyog sa Kadayawan sa Dabaw which means Come and visit Davao or Celebrate with us.
Now on its 18th year, the Kadayawan Festival was an explosion of colors with Mindanaos indigenous groups participating at the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan street dancing, showcasing their rich culture and different ethnic dances. Thousands of people also trooped to the streets to witness the Floral Float Parade depicting Davao Citys natural bounties.
The Dabawenyo can meet any threat head-on. We are bouncing back ...
