San Bernardino officials give tentative okay to Norton group
San Bernardino area development officials last week tentatively approved the addition of two Los Angeles-based real estate companies to a team that is negotiating to redevelop the Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino County.
The Anden Group of Sherman Oaks and Torrance-based Lamco are both being proposed as the new partners of Iddo Benzeevi, a West Los Angeles-based developer who is now negotiating for the right to redevelop the 2,000-acre air base.
The Norton base is targeted for closure in early 1994, or sooner.
