SEOUL, Aug 22 Asia Pulse - A group of South Korean employers called on the government today to clamp down on striking truck drivers.

"The government should take stern action against the truck drivers' walkout because it is an illegal act," the Korea Employers Federation said in a statement.

If the government caves in to the truck drivers' pressure again, it will have a significantly negative impact on labor-management relations in the future, the organization warned.
