WILPF India core group was established on 7 January 2001, at Nagpur in the presence of Gandhi peace award winner Edith Ballantyne, and current WILPF International President, Krishna Ahooja Patel. Since then members have been working at local and national levels engaged in organizing workshops, symposiums, seminars and presenting papers. We aim to create awareness among students and women about national and international WILPF programme issues.
Unfortunately during the first year there was some misunderstanding created among the members by some of the devoted persons who actually helped for the inception. We lost some of the invaluable members including secretary ...
