Article: WILPF core group starts in Nagpur (India).(India News)(Women's International League for Peace and Freedom)

WILPF India core group was established on 7 January 2001, at Nagpur in the presence of Gandhi peace award winner Edith Ballantyne, and current WILPF International President, Krishna Ahooja Patel. Since then members have been working at local and national levels engaged in organizing workshops, symposiums, seminars and presenting papers. We aim to create awareness among students and women about national and international WILPF programme issues.
