A CAMPAIGN has been launched to award the people of Gibraltar the George Cross for their help during the Second World War.

Members of the Plymouth-based Golden Hinde Association, the driving force behind the move, are due to fly out to Gibraltar tomorrow to take part in the annual National Day celebration later in the week and gather support.
