Sep. 8--By Webster's definition, a pantry is a small room off a kitchen.

By Pueblo definition, it is one of the oldest and most popular restaurants in the city.

Located at 107 E. Abriendo Ave., The Pantry Restaurant has served its delectable breakfasts, lunches and dinners to hungry customers for 30 years.

"I decided I wanted to go into business for myself," said Marty Valdez, owner of The Pantry. "And it was very successful right from the start."
