SEATTLE _ Hank Blalock won't win the batting title this season. A 1-for-13 weekend in Minnesota took care of that, finally knocking him out of the top 10.
But, according to the Texas Rangers, it's only a matter of time before he wins one.
And then a shorter amount of time after that until he wins another.
"This is probably not the right time," said hitting instructor Rudy Jaramillo. "He's not ready yet. But I have no doubts that he's the kind of guy who won't win just one title; he can repeat it over and over."
