The Big O is the brainchild of Alex Hall, who originated the idea while working part-time in a friend's pub. She had travelled extensively and identified a gap in the British market for sophisticated bar snacks. Alex believes that as the British travel abroad more and more, they are becoming increasingly discerning in their tastes and they are looking for more than the usual fare of crisps, nuts and pork scratchings with their glass of wine.
