Bailout agency CKA acquires 20 % stake in Muzo payment card company
Prague. September 9 INTERFAX EUROPE - The Czech state bailout agency Ceska konsolidacna agentura (CKA) has acquired a 21 % stake in the Muzo payment card company, according to the Central Securities Registry (SCP).
The stake was transferred to CKA from the so-called Cayman funds, created by Investicni a postovni banka (IPB) several years ago. CSOB took over the collapsed IPB in 2002. Earlier this year, it agreed to transfer most of these funds to the CKA.
Muzo operates about 19,000 payment terminals and over 1,200 ATM's. Last year, clients made over 62 mln ...
