In the previous issue of Dermatology Nursing, Keith Benbenisty, MD, of the Medical University of South Carolina, reported that if a patient has been diagnosed with Celiac disease or dermatitis herpetiformis (DH), he or she may have a sensitivity to gluten. There are many helpful publications and resources to help patients who need a gluten-free (GF) diet. There are several gluten-free cookbooks that can be helpful to patients. They include:
