JAKARTA, Sept 10 Asia Pulse - Indonesia is expected to be able to stop soybean imports by 2006 as a result of the benefits of a partnership scheme between farmers and industry, a minister said here.

"With the availability of enough land, the soybean partnership scheme and increasing production capability, I hope that within the next three years, Indonesia will no longer have to import soybean," Industry and Trade Minister Rini Suwandi said after the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the partnership scheme.
