Karachi, Sept 3 (PPI): Defence Residents Society (DRS) has constituted a Study Group to determine the extent of damage caused to environment, human and marine life in the coastal areas of Karachi in general and the residential areas of Defence Housing Authority in particular on account of spillage of crude oil from the ship 'Tasman Spirit' which ran aground near Sea View Apartments. The Study Group will independently determine the causes of the disaster and recommend measures to fight the adverse effect of the incident on environment, human and marine life and to prevent repetition of such incidents of such incidents in future.
