As expected, the anti-gunners in Congress are giving top priority this year to the so-called Brady Bill with its nationwide seven-day waiting period for handgun purchases.
Rep. Edward Feighan (D-Ohio) introduced HR-7 (so numbered because it provides for a seven-day waiting period) on Jan. 3, and House Speaker Tom Foley (D-Wash.) reportedly has indicated he will give the bill early consideration.
