EL PASO, Texas -- Texas-El Paso quarterback Jordan Palmer has picked up at least one thing from his Heisman Trophy-winning brother, Carson, the third-string quarterback for the Bengals and the first overall pick in the last NFL draft.
Neither believes in surrendering when scrambling into onrushing linebackers.
"He broke his collarbone against Oregon. That's how I broke mine," Jordan Palmer said, grinning. "You'll never see one of us slide."
