JLG Industries, Inc. announced that newly designed Caterpillar diesel engines are now an option on many of its telescoping boom lifts. The new engines comply with EPA Tier 2 regulations, which will become effective on January 1, 2004 and will call for limitations on emission of carbon monoxide, nitrous oxides, non-methane hydrocarbons and particulate matter.
