All Nathan Lagred remembers of his motorcycle crash is being hot and thirsty.
A moderate head injury he suffered on his slide into thick brush off Nicollet County Rd. 15 near St. Peter, Minn., left him confused and with just enough clarity to protect himself from heat and dehydration by taking refuge in the shade of a tree.
