Jakarta, Aug 12 (ANTARA) - Public prosecutor Hasan Madani demanded 15 years in jail for Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, top leader of the Indonesian Mujahiddin Council (MMI), at the Jakarta district court here Tuesday.
The public presecutor told the court Ba'asyir was found guilty of violating Article 107 point 2 and 1 on subversion and public crimes, Article 266 point 1 on document forgery, Article 263 point 1 on making fake statements of the Criminal Code. The Muslim cleric was also indicted on charges of violating Articles 53 and 48 of Law No. 9/1992, on immigration violation.
