2003 SEP 18 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Aetna Inc. (AET) has awarded a $10,000 grant to The Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR), a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the health of women through research, education, and advocacy.
Three Aetna representatives - Cheryl Pegus, MD, MPH, national medical director for Women's Health; Eileen Yozallinas, RN, regional nurse case manager; and Jonathan Topodas, Federal Government Relations - will sit on the society's Corporate Advisory Council (CAC), a forum for open dialogue between the women's health community and the healthcare industry.
